ISP Software Tools: Overview

We have contributed to the Open Source software development effort and Linux OS popularization with release of the following free applications:

NDSAD Netflow Probe

NDSAD (NetUP Data Stream Accounting Daemon) is a traffic probe. Developed by NetUP originally, NDSAD is an open-source (GPL'ed) tool that captures packets and generates a Netflow (v5) accounting stream. It may be used with the ISP billing system "UTM 5" or with any other software for NetFlow analysis.

Get-XYZ Netflow Converter

Get-XYZ is a universal traffic probe and converter for Mikrotik, NSG and Revolution network hardware. As well as NDSAD, Get-xyz is originally developed by NetUP, and now it is an opensource (GPL'ed) project.

NetUP Linux Live CD

NetUP Linux Live CD is a bootable compact disk with self-tuning Linux (Knoppix) and installed over it UTM billing server. Live CD is absolutely free.

By distributing NetUP Linux Live CD we have contributed to popularization of Linux OS and the ISP billing system "NetUP UTM" in Russia and other countries. For less than a year it has been sent more than 3500 CD by post mail. Number of downloads of iso-image from the official NetUP web site has already exceeded 10,000 !
